Mariupol is situated on the South-East of Ukraine. In the course of historical development of country, Mariupol occurred to be a multinational city. Mariupol is a large highly developed industrial center and gates for the sea-trade in the south-east of Ukraine. The total population of Mariupol in 2000 was about 516 000 people.

Mariupol is also a big port. You can see lots of different ships in the port. Climate is moderate continental, warmest in the Donetsk Basin. The average temperature in January is 6 degrees below zero Centigrade and in July 24 degrees Centigrade.

The city parks, squares and quays are always full of people. The first thing for a traveler to do there is to walk along its main street - Lenin Avenue and then to go to the city beach. The Sea of Azov is very shallow - 8 m deep - and you can just walk far there. There's so many great places in this city where you can get real fun. And some of them are very cool. Club Coral is the European level restaurant and night club even with slot machines and casino! It's funny but this high services still comes with LOW Ukrainian prices. They even except all credit cards. Very funny place with lot of beautiful girls. (Ask any person in the city or taxi driver-they will take you there..) Another place which is very popular at summer time-Club Tropicanka(tropical girl). It located immediately on the beach on the Left Bank(Leviy Bereg). It's a must visit place at summer. Service is as great as in Coral but you can mingle with younger crowd.
